Christian Schittich was born in Halle/Saale, Germany in 1956 and holds a diploma in Architecture and Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. Architekt). He undertook his studies at the TU (University of Technology) Munich followed by seven years`office and design experience as an architect.
From 1991 till 1998 he was responsible editor of DETAIL, Review of Architecture in Munich and from 1998 he is editor-in-chief. Under his direction DETAIL developped to become internationally one of the most widespread and distinguished magazines among architects.
Christian Schittich ist the author and editor of numerous books, all of which have been translated into different languages:

Selina Walder degreed in architecture at the Accademia of Architettura Mendrisio in 2004. From 2004 - 2006 she taught as an assitant at the design chair of Valerio Olgiati in Mendrisio. Since 2004 she works in her own architecture office in Flims together with Georg Nickisch.
Next to several interior reconstructions she designed three detached houses, a car showroom, and a concept study for a hotel and associated apartment buildings.
In 2008 her office won a competition for an auditorium at the Plantahof together with Valerio Olgiati.

Stephan Engelsmann, geb. 1964 in Augsburg, studierte nach einer Ausbildung zum Mauergesellen von 1986 bis 1991 Bauingenieurwesen an der Technischen Universität München. Von 1991 bis 1993 war er im Ingenieurbüro von Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Kupfer, München tätig. 1993-1998 war er Wissenschaftlicher Assistent bei Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Schlaich und Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kurt Schäfer am Institut für Konstruktion und Entwurf II der Universität Stuttgart. 1998 Promotion zum Dr.-Ing. 1998-1999 Masterstudium Architektur an der University of Bath, United Kingdom. Von 1999 bis 2007 war er Projektleiter und Prokurist bei Werner Sobek Ingenieure GmbH & Co. KG, Stuttgart. Er wurde 2002 zum Professor für Konstruktives Entwerfen und Tragwerkslehre an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart berufen und leitete von 2005 bis 2009 zusätzlich das interdisziplinäre Weißenhof-Institut der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart. Er ist Vorstandsmitglied der Ingenieurkammer Baden-Württemberg und seit 2007 deren 1. Vizepräsident. Seit 2007 ist er Prorektor der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Stuttgart. Er ist Gründer und geschäftsführender Gesellschafter des Ingenieurbüros Engelsmann Peters GmbH Beratende Ingenieure.
