Born 1965 in Cork.
Graduated in architecture with a distinction from Bolton Street, Dublin
Institute of Technology, in 1990.
Worked in Frankfurt, Berlin and Dublin before establishing FKL Architects
with Michelle Fagan and Paul Kelly in 1998.

Member of the Architectural Association of Ireland Committe in 1993 and 1996
to 1998.
Guest Critic DIT 1996-97.
Fifth year Tutor DIT 1997-98.
Fourth Year Tuto DIT 1998-2000.

Projects & Prizes

FKL Architects is a critical practice committed to the promotion of the highest standards in contemporary architectural design. They have recently won the Martin Valley sculpture park competition in Cork and been shortlisted in the Kildare and Monaghan civic offices competitions. Their work has been exhibited in Ireland and Europe and has received numerous awards, including an Architectural Association of Ireland special award for Three Houses in Rathmines and an AAI award for Fingal Offices and Library, Baldoyle.
Their S3 Headquarters building has received an RIAI award, an Opus Building of the Year award and has recently been published as a monograph.
