Bart Biermans - architect substitute member principal STARGAZE visiting lecturer Academy of Architecture, Maastricht

Graduated as an architect from Henry Van De Velde Instituut Antwerpen (B) in 1992. From 1996 to 2002 he was a partner of the successful office "META Architectuurbureau" and thus project-architect for widely published projects such as "Pedico Scherpenheuvel" (1996-2000), "office building G43 for Siemens Huizingen" (2000-2002) and several master plans for "Siemens Brain Parcs" (2001-2002).
In 2003 Bart Biermans founded STARGAZE, a studio oriented on projective research and spatial strategies. STARGAZE was a member of the "Bunkerhotel Research and Designteam" for the project "Metropolitan Diamond" -an urbanistic research project
shown at the Rotterdam Biennale 2003.
Bart Biermans is currently a visiting lecturer at the "Academie voor Bouwkunst", Maastricht.
