Present occupation :
-Since 1997, von Schewen has run her own design studio ‘Anna von Schewen Design and architecture’ in Stockholm, working with architectural projects, interiors and exhibition design.
-Guest teacher at the University of Art, Craft and Design and Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm.
Works :
-Designed several products, mainly furniture, for producers such as Cbi, Gärsnäs, Lammhults, Pukeberg, Skruf. Examples: the ”Latta” easy-chair (1997) followed by ”Latta” lamp and wall, and the ”Hug” chair (2002).
-In collaboration with industrial designer Björn Dahlström, designed the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Architecture in Stockholm. (2004)
-Her latest work is the exhibition design for “Konceptdesign”, Nationalmuseum in Stockholm’s contribution to the Swedish Design year 2005.
Many of Anna von Schewen’s architectural projects and designs have been presented in Swedish and international publications, and during the Salone del Mobile 2003 in Milan she was presented as one of the up-coming designers by Interni Magazine.
