Worked on his postgraduate studies at the same university but did not complete them.
Continued his studies at Vienna Technical University.
Between 1988 and 1995, he worked in several architectural offices
Returned to Istanbul in 1995 and established Suyabatmaz
Architects
He is among the founders of the Master’s Program in
Architectural Design at Bilgi University, where he is working as a studio instructor since 2004.
He founded Suyabatmaz Demirel Architects with Hakan Demirel in 2008

Alpaslan Ataman, 1944

Born in 1944, Alpaslan Ataman graduated from Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts in 1966. He directed or contributed to numerous architectural and urban projects and implementations in the UK and the USA. Between 1980 and 1983 he participated in various projects and publications run by Sedad Hakkı Eldem (Türk Evi – Osmanlı Dönemi (The Turkish House – the Ottoman Era) and Boğaziçi (The Bosphorus)). At present he works and carries out his research as a free-lance architect.

Born in istanbul in 1972. Graduated from 9 Eylül University, Izmir in 1995. After getting a masters degree from Middle East Technical University, worked in several offices in Ankara and Izmir as designer and site architect. Consecutively, during 2002-2005, taught at 9 Eylul University, Izmir; during 2005-2008 at Kocaeli University, Izmit. Presently teaching at Bahcesehir Univertsity, Istanbul. In 2010, he was awarded (with Gul Koksal) the 12th National Architecture Award on preservation and revitalization category.

Hasan Çalışlar, 1969

Born in Istanbul 1969. Following his education at Istanbul Saint Michel High School, he graduated from the Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Architecture in 1992. Çalışlar conducted his postgraduate studies on ‘Power and Sovereignty in Architecture’ at Yıldız Technical University. He founded ‘Erginoğlu&Çalışlar Architects’ in 1993, together with Kerem Erginoğlu.
He was awarded the ‘Art of Building Conservation Award’ for the “Tuncel House” in the National Architecture Awards of 1996, the ‘Building Award’ for the “Military School Swimming Pool Complex” in the National Architecture Awards of 2000, AMV Young Architects Award in 2004, 4th prize in the international competition for the Turkish Embassy in Berlin in 2007, 1st prize in the invited competition of Tarsus Sev Elementary School Campus in 2009 and ‘Design Award’ for “Tarsus Sev Elementary School Campus Project” in the National Architecture Awards of 2010, ‘Preservation-Revitalisation Award’ for “Salt Repository-Medina Turgul DDB Head Quarters” in the National Architecture Awards of 2010, the ‘Building Award’ for the “Turkcell Teknolohi Research and Development Building” in the National Architecture Awards of 2010, the “New&Old Award” for the “Salt Repository-Medina Turgul DDB Head Quarters” in the World Architecture Festival 2010.
He has been a jury member in Uludağ University, Istanbul Technical University and Yıldız Technical University and has also been a guest lecturer at Mimar Sinan University, Istanbul Technical University and Yıldız Technical University. He is a member of the Chamber of Architects and Istanbul Architects Association. His projects and articles have been published in various architectural magazines.

Tulin Hadi, 1969

Born in İstanbul in 1969. Graduated from Technical University of İstanbul Faculty of Architecture in 1993. Until her graduation she worked in the realization project of National Reasurans Complex. She also worked with Ergün Aksel in architectural competitions and with Mehmet Tataroğlu,and Ömer Bortaçina in interior design. She worked with Turgut Cansever between 1992-1994. She became the partner of TeCe Architects in 1994 with Cem İlhan. She participated architectural workshops and jury memberships. She has been the producer/presenter Design 360 in CNNTurk between 2003-2006. She got the and Arkitera Young Architect Award 2006. She has been the jury member of National Architecural Award and Arkitera Young Architect Award 2008.
